Continental Equipment Company was founded by James E. Bell, Jr in Tonganoxie, KS, just 10 minutes west of Kansas City. Beginning in 1992, and through a persistent commitment to quality, Continental became an industry leader in reconditioned sterilizers/autoclaves, sterilizer water conservation, preventative maintenance, and breakdown repairs.

Today, Continental Equipment Company team is committed to providing quality sterilization products and services at significant savings. Our Encore Series Laboratory/Scientific Sterilizers were introduced in 2009 and have given our customers all the benefits of purchasing a new autoclave with the cost savings of a remanufactured unit.

From small autoclave builds to on-site bulk autoclave rebuilds, we have provided our cost-effective services to satisfied customers across North America.
