The Encore® 2G Series Laboratory/Scientific Sterilizer was specifically designed to meet the diversified and budgetary needs of our laboratory and research customers. The series provides all the benefits of a new sterilizer with the cost savings of a remanufactured unit by using a certified used pressure vessel. The pressure vessels are thoroughly tested, refurbished to like-new condition, and backed by a comparable warranty, as OEMs are typically provided with brand-new vessels. All piping and components are brand new, including the state-of-the-art control system, featuring a large, user-friendly color touchscreen, configurable multi-layered password security, and data logging to a removable USB flash drive for transferring cycle reports to a personal computer. 20 user configurable cycles, including cycle names, give the user the optimal ability to configure cycles. Bulk Sterilizers (Autoclaves)
Bulk sterilizers, notable by their significantly larger size and volume, are typically used in settings for high volume throughput, such as a vivarium, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or biotechnology research facility. These large autoclaves are often located in basements, making replacement costs reach far beyond the cost of the actual autoclave. Replacement often includes lengthy downtime and extensive construction. Our team has completed over 30 full on-site bulk sterilizer upgrades since 2010. Our upgrades consist of vessel cleaning, completely new stainless-steel piping, wiring, components, and controls, including our Encore® Series control system with custom programming to meet our customer’s needs. Water-Mizer®
The patented Water-Mizer® is a water-saving and tempering device for steam sterilizers that efficiently mixes cold water with steam condensate discharged from the sterilizer to reduce the discharged water temperature before it enters a municipal sewer system. Most steam sterilizers use continuous cold water (single pass cooling) to temper the steam condensate, which is wasteful. The Water-Mizer® monitors the drain temperature and applies cold water only when needed. The Water-Mizer®’s temperature-actuated valve is time-tested to be reliable and maintenance-free. And, because it is non-electric, no wiring is required. The Water-Mizer® operates independently from OEM controls and can be used with any steam sterilizer.
When the Water-Mizer® is installed and adjusted properly, the device will provide water savings of 2,000 gallons a day or greater. Contact us for more information.
